This International Women’s Day we’re thrilled to announce the appointment of Jessica Velasquez as gallery director. This appointment comes after two years as Senior Art Advisor at the gallery, and over 20 years industry experience in Melbourne art galleries.
Jessica will work alongside our founding director, James Makin, as the gallery continues to grow and develop. We are excited for the direction this appointment will bring to the gallery’s programming, and the continuing profile of James Makin Gallery as one of Melbourne’s longest-standing commercial art galleries.
