MARTIN KING, EOLO PAUL BOTTARO and DAGMAR CYRULLA – Success at Montsalvat

Congratulations to Martin King for winning the Neil Wallace Printmaking Prize, with his stunning work ‘Kimberley Early Morning 3000 Feet’. Eolo Paul Bottaro was runner up with his hauntingly beautiful aquatint ‘Tango at the Shrine’ (pictured), published with Port Jackson Press in 2006. Dagmar Cyrulla also received and honorable mention in the What’s on Victoria Feature Prize with her work ‘View from my Studio Kensington’, a perceptive and sensitively handled oil on canvas. The prizes were announced last night at the opening of the Salon de Montsalvat, Landscape Painting & Printmaking, at Montsalvat estate in Eltham. The exhibition runs untill the 28th January 2007.
