David Fairbairn in the Archibald Prize 2012

Senior and established artist David Fairbairn has been selected for the 2012 Archibald Prize, Australia’s most well known and hotly contested prize for portraiture.

His stunning finalist work is pictured here – ‘Large Head J.B No 1’, 2011, mixed media 210 x 183 cm. Congratulations!

David is having his second solo exhibition with James Makin Gallery in October 2012.
