Nic Plowman, finalist in Dobell Drawing Prize 2024

We are delighted to congratulate Nic Plowman who has been selected as a finalist 24th Dobell Drawing Prize for a 2nd year in a row!

The Dobell Drawing Prize is Australia’s leading prize for drawing. Presented at the National Art School in partnership with the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation, this biennial exhibition highlights the enduring relevance and changing role of drawing within contemporary art practice. The winning work receives a $30,000 prize and enters the National Art School’s significant collection.

The 24th edition of the exhibition will open on Friday 11 April and run till Saturday 21 June 2025, showcasing the work of 56 finalists from 965 entries. ⁠
