TAMARA DEAN Highly Commended in MORAN CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHIC PRIZE 2011

Congratulations to Tamara Dean who has had two photographs Highly Commended in the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize for 2011, Australia’s most sought after photographic prize.

Tamara has 3 works in the Award – the first time in the history of the Award an an artist has had three photographs selected in one year.

The finalist artworks are:

“Jack in the enchanted garden” HIGHLY COMMENDED

“Ladies of the Canyon #2”

“Only Human” (Illustrated) HIGHLY COMMENDED

“Ladies of the Canyon #2” and “Only Human” will be available in her show opening May 5th in the gallery, and have been Highly Commended.

Tamara is also currently a finalist in the William and Winfred Bowness Photographic Prize, and the Olive Cotton Award for photographic portraiture.
