EOLO PAUL BOTTARO selected for Archibald Prize 2008

Eolo Paul Bottaro has been selected for this year’s Archibald Prize. This is Australia’s most well known art prize. With approximately 700 entrants and only 40 finalists, it is fantastic to be selected. The exhibition of finalists work is currently on display at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and will then travel to regional centres throughout Australia:

Goulburn Regional Art Gallery: 11 July – 17 August 2008
Bathurst Regional Art Gallery: 29 August – 12 October 2008
Lake Macquarie City Art Gallery: 31 October – 7 December 2008
Port Macquarie Hastings Regional Gallery: 15 December 2008 – 18 January 2009
Lismore Regional Gallery: 23 January – 28 February 2009

Bottaro will be having a solo exhibition at the James Makin Gallery in August 2008:
