David Fairbairn’s fantastic drawing “Head of D.G. No 1” (image attached) won the $15,000 Sunshine Coast Art Prize, held at Caloundra Regional Gallery. The exhibition will be on display until the 7th of October, 2012. David also recently won the Mosman Art Prize 2012 which was judged by Anne Flanagan, Deputy Director, Art Gallery of New South Wales. David’s work is currently touring regional galleries as part of the 2012 Archibald Prize, for which he was selected as a finalist.

David Fairbain’s next solo exhibition with the gallery is October of this year.
