Photo Australia and James Makin Gallery are pleased present New Photographers, PHOTO 2022’s showcase of Victoria’s most exciting emerging photographers, featuring seven artists who bring new perspectives to the human experience, photography and visual culture.

PHOTO 2022 International Festival of Photography is a visual arts biennial taking place in galleries and public spaces across Melbourne and regional Victoria from 29 April to 22 May 2022. Responding to the theme Being Human, 123 artists explore the contemporary human condition in 90 exhibitions, alongside a program of talks, tours, workshops and film screenings. New Photographers includes work by Isabella Darcy, J Davies, João Marco Deloie, Rachel Main, Olivia Mròz, Jake Nemirovsky and Jahkarli Romanis.

Drinks by Bodriggy and Noisy Ritual. With a Krump performance by Aleena Panagopoulos (Kid Antagonize), Bia Lupiga (Lil Red) and Troi-Saraih Ilsley taking place at James Makin Gallery on Saturday 30th April
